Introduction

Hi, I'm Matelia. My penname is Matelia-legwll, which is also the title of this blog. Every post after this one will be a piece that I have written. Most of it is fanfiction, so I'll take the time now to disclaim any and all references to characters, places, items, and words that I do not own.

This blog will share the pieces I've already published on www.fanfiction.net first, followed by pieces of my own writing.

Most of my writing centers around the Harry Potter universe, in the time of Harry's parents. Expect a lot of the Marauders, and Lily. Snape will occasionally make an appearance, too.

I also will post my fanfiction of the Twilight Saga, centered around the Cullens. How I love those vampires.

I have already written six posted stories. Five of which deal with Lily and the Marauders, and one that is a Twilight piece.

I appreciate any and all feedback on my writing. Tell me exactly what I can improve on, tell me if you like it, tell me what I did right.

I'm curious to know how much this blog will be viewed, as I have never done a blog before. Perhaps, as I get more familiar with blogging and such, I will create a different blog that is more personal, but this one is saved for my writing.

One thing I will tell you before I start, so no one gets overly distracted by it, is the origin of my penname.

"Matelia" was created by me as an early attempt to personalize my sixth-grade nickname of Madeline. I rather like Matelia and it is my web-name in several places. I pronounce it "Mat-tell-LEE-uh."
"legwll" is actually a compilation of some of my favorite female characters from Harry Potter. Lily Evans, Ginny Weasley, and Luna Lovegood. I pronounce this part "ledge-well."

I sometimes separate them with a dash and sometimes just a space. It just depends on the mood I'm in when I create my account.
